On November 29, 2022, the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Universal Engineering College in Thrissur conducted a workshop titled "Analysis of Electrical Layout of College." This workshop aimed to provide students with hands-on experience in understanding and evaluating the electrical systems within their educational institution. The workshop commenced with an introductory session on the principles of electrical layout design. Participants learned about essential components, including power distribution systems, lighting arrangements, and safety measures. The emphasis was placed on the importance of designing efficient and compliant electrical systems in academic settings. Students were then divided into groups for practical exercises, where they analyzed the existing electrical layout of the college. They engaged in activities that involved reviewing schematics, identifying potential issues, and proposing improvements based on industry best practices. This hands-on approach encouraged teamwork and collaboration among participants.
