Successfully Completed a 5-Day Internship on Essentials of AutoCAD for the S4 & S6 Students of Civil Engineering Departments at Travancore Engineering College, Kollam We are pleased to announce the successful completion of a 5-day internship on the Essentials of AutoCAD, conducted exclusively for the fourth and sixth-semester students of the Civil Engineering Department at Travancore Engineering College, Kollam. This intensive program was designed to equip students with a strong foundation in AutoCAD, a vital tool for drafting and designing in the field of civil engineering. Over the course of five days, participants gained hands-on experience in creating, modifying, and optimizing 2D and 3D designs, while also mastering the software's essential features such as layers, annotations, and dimensioning. The internship provided students with practical, project-based learning that enabled them to apply their theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios, enhancing their technical capabilities in architectural and structural design. Led by industry professionals, the program also covered best practices for design precision and efficiency, helping students understand how AutoCAD is utilized in modern construction and infrastructure projects.
