Successful Completion of a 3-Day Hands-on Training on Essentials of AutoCAD for the S1 & S2 Students of Civil & Mechanical Engineering Departments at TKM Institute of Technology, Kollam We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of a 3-day hands-on training program on the Essentials of AutoCAD, conducted for the first and second-semester students of the Civil and Mechanical Engineering Departments at TKM Institute of Technology, Kollam. This immersive training, led by industry professionals and conducted in collaboration with the region's only Autodesk Authorized Training Center in Kollam, provided students with a solid foundation in AutoCAD, one of the most widely used design and drafting tools in engineering. The program focused on equipping students with the fundamental skills required to efficiently create, modify, and manage engineering drawings for real-world applications. Over the course of three days, participants engaged in practical, hands-on sessions that covered essential AutoCAD features such as drawing setup, drafting tools, annotations, and layer management, as well as advanced techniques for precision and accuracy in design. This interactive approach enabled students to directly apply what they learned, gaining valuable experience in both 2D and 3D drafting. This initiative reflects our commitment to providing high-quality technical education, ensuring that students not only learn from industry experts but also gain exposure to the latest tools and practices essential for their future careers.
