Faculty Development Program on BIM Using Revit Architecture Conducted at SITTTR Kalamassery

ARCITE School of Technical Education successfully conducted a Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Building Information Modeling (BIM) using Revit Architecture at the prestigious State Institute of Technical Teachers Training & Research in Kalamassery. The program was designed to empower educators with industry-relevant BIM knowledge and practical expertise, enabling them to integrate modern digital construction technologies into engineering and architectural education. During the session, faculty members were introduced to BIM workflows, Revit Architecture tools, and real-time project modelling techniques used in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry. The program focused on enhancing teaching methodologies by incorporating industry-driven BIM practices and digital design processes into academic environments. Key Highlights of the Program Hands-on BIM training using Revit Architecture Exposure to industry-standard digital modelling workflows Skill development for engineering and architecture educators Enhancing classroom learning with modern construction technology The Faculty Development Program aimed to transform academic environments into innovation-driven learning spaces by equipping educators with the knowledge and tools required to prepare students for the evolving engineering and construction industry. ARCITE School of Technical Education continues to conduct technical training programs, faculty development initiatives, and industry immersion sessions to support the advancement of engineering education and professional skill development.
